For now this blog is mainly about me recording my album in my little home studio… maybe also about songs I’m obsessed with and can’t stop listening to or that I’ve just (re)discovered or later hopefully a tour diary and the likes. So by now, you should have figured it out… this blog is meant to be about music, music and well, music.If you’re curious about how my music sounds like… check out my myspace page! Because I’m really not good at explaining it. It’s just as the saying goes: “Explaining music is like dancing to architecture”… or something like that.
I reckon or hope I’m halfway into writing and recording this album. From time to time I’m gonna include some mp3-snippets of what I’m talking about so it’s easier to get an idea and also hear the progress of the songs.
Now… why am I starting a blog? Personally, I find it interesting to read about musicians talking or writing about their recording process. So maybe others might, too. I’m not even sure if anyone will read my blog, but I guess, one more out there won’t hurt. At worst I will have this recording diary for myself.
And just thinking that people are seriously reading this might help me not slacken off. So no excuses!
I might write some more about my ‘biography’ later…
